VGK's 2019 Fathers Trip Recap

It’s that time of year again! The annual VGK Fathers Trip took place in late December and included two road games in Vancouver and San Jose, and a full day at one of Bill Foley’s properties in Northern California.

Day one was a full day of travel to Vancouver for the guys and their dads.

Once in Vancouver, the night was topped off with a dinner at Joe Fortes Seafood and Chophouse.

Day two was the team’s first full day of the Fathers Trip. The dads took in the sights at Rogers Arena, while their sons were busy prepping to face off against the Canucks.

Each dad wore a white road jersey adorned with a commemorative Fathers Trip patch.

The night ended with a loss to the Canucks, the first loss ever on a VGK Fathers Trip. The team loaded on the plane to head to wine country after the game!

The guys and their dads spent the day taking in the beauty of one of Bill Foley’s properties in Sonoma. Activities for the day included group meals and wine making and bottling classes!

The next day the dads watched their sons practice in San Jose before taking in a 49ers game from field level that night!

On the final day of the Dads Trip, the team got in one last practice before facing off against the Sharks that night.

And the guys closed out the Fathers Trip with a victory over the San Jose Sharks!
