Defenseman Lukas Cormier and the Vegas Golden Knights agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Cormier was drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights in the third-round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He currently plays for the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He has notched 21 points (7 G, 14 A) in 13 games. Cormier, a New Brunswick native, currently leads all QMJHL defenseman in points during the 2020-21 season.
