The Vegas Golden Knights didn’t have the start to the season they wanted. Vegas hit the road, though and avoided having the worst start to a season in their short history.
Vegas has never lost five games in a row — and they still haven’t. The Golden Knights got back on the right track Tuesday night at Ball Arena in Colorado to take down the dangerous Avalanche, 3-1.
VGK had a quick turnaround and went down south to visit Dallas. Vegas was behind most of the game, but a timely Jonathan Marchessault goal sent the game into overtime. In overtime, Evgenii Dadonov sealed the win for the Golden Knights, which gave them four out of four points in the standings on their back-to-back away from home.
