Familiar Faces Return to the Fortress
The Golden Knights saw some familiar faces the other night - just on the other side of things.
To kick off the week of returns, Nate Schmidt and Paul Stastny came into town with the Winnipeg Jets. Both were greeted with a video tribute and a warm welcome back.
Four nights later, two more former Knights came to town. Former Head Coach Gerard Gallant and a fan favorite Ryan Reaves were hosted by their former team. Gallant led the Golden Knights to one of the most improbable Stanley Cup runs in history.
The week of returns was capped off with the most anticipated of them all. Marc Andrè Fleury played his first game in Vegas since the playoffs last year - again, this time it was with a different team. Fans gave him a roaring ovation and he saluted the crowed after an extended video tribute.
