Brendan Brisson's Journey to Vegas 🤩
Vegas Golden Knights prospect Brendan Brisson has had an eventful journey in the past year. Since he was selected 29th overall as the Vegas Golden Knights’ First Round Pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, he has continued playing in the NCAA for the University of Michigan. In the 2021-2022 season he posted 42 points (21 G, 21 A) in 32 games.
So far this year, he has represented the United States in the Men’s Olympic Hockey team in Beijing, China; scoring two goals in four games. After playing in the Olympics, he returned to the University of Michigan and took the Wolverines to the NCAA’s Frozen Four Championship. They made it to the semi-finals of the Frozen Four, losing to Denver 3-2 in overtime.
After the year that Brisson has had so far, he is taking on another milestone by signing a tryout agreement with the Henderson Silver Knights. He appeared in his first game as a Silver Knight on April 13th against the Stockton Heat. Brisson showed his talents as he opened the scoring for Henderson with a powerplay goal during the first period. With the year he has had so far, Brisson is clearly one prospect to look out for.
