The Vegas Golden Knights are providing a unique look at their 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs run thanks to a new podcast, VGK Today.
Hosted by a different VGK broadcaster every day and published first thing in the morning, VGK Today allows fans to start their day with the latest news in the Playoffs. Whether it’s an in-depth interview with a key figure or analysis of what the broadcasters witnessed the night before, each episode offers a unique approach.
Monday, for example, two Manitobans took some time in Winnipeg to talk about the experience of being the visitor in their home province for a playoff game, as Daren Millard (of Brandon) interviewed forward Brett Howden (of nearby Oakbank). Howden also talked about becoming a dad in the last week and what it’s like to be away from newborn son Charlie as the Golden Knights pursue their goals on the ice.
