Fleury Gets His Doughnuts
When the Vegas Golden Knights earn a shutout on home ice, all fans in attendance get free doughnuts from Krispy Kreme the next day. Fans have to show their ticket to get the treats, but not having a ticket didn’t stop Marc-Andre Fleury from getting his doughnuts Thursday.
He was able to talk his way into a dozen doughnuts, but it seemed like the employees at Krispy Kreme weren’t going to let the Golden Knights netminder go home empty-handed, ticket or no. His shutout of the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday, Nov. 14 was the 51st shutout of his career.
We all get a little bit flower-struck sometimes.
