Fan Appreciation Week

The Vegas Golden Knights hosted Fan Appreciation Week April 5-12 to show love back to the community and fans that supported the team all season long.

The Golden Knights kicked off Fan Appreciation Week on Saturday, April 5, at Downtown Summerlin by participating in the Touch-a-Truck at The Lawn.

Families were able to check out the LosVGK hand-painted lowrider, the world’s fastest ice resurfacer, and VGK truck to grab some cool Golden Knights items.

Later in the evening as the Golden Knights faced off against the Calgary Flames, VGK cast and crew hosted a watch party at the UnCommons with giveaways and surprises. On Sunday, April 6, Vegas hosted another watch party at Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino Las Vegas as the team took on the Vancouver Canucks.

On Monday, April 7, the Golden Knights premiered VGK Way - a behind-the-scenes look into the Golden Knights day-to-day operations and sneak peek inside the locker room during game day.

As the Golden Knights battled the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, April 8, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hosted a watch party with VGK cast and crew.

The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation hosted “Fuel the Realm” on Wednesday, April 9, at a southeast Smith’s location where they gave $20,000 worth of gas to the community.

On Thursday, April 10, the Golden Knights hosted Autism Awareness Knight as they battled the Seattle Kraken at T-Mobile Arena. Autism Awareness Knight featured special guests such as representatives from Best Buddies and the Grant A Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center.

Best Buddies Ambassador Paul Brooks Jr. sat down with Daren Millard at the broadcasting desk during the pregame show where he announced the Golden Knights nominee for the King Clancy Award, Jack Eichel.

Lil from Grant A Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center rang the second intermission siren to keep the positive momentum going into the third period.

The VGK Foundation continued their ongoing efforts in supporting the Las Vegas community by visiting Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Clark County Fire Department and local nonprofit organizations.

The Golden Knights concluded Fan Appreciation Week by hosting Fan Appreciation Knight on Saturday, April 12, in the final regular season home game against the Nashville Predators. Special concession stand prices, deals on VGK gear, and other giveaways occurred throughout the game.

The team hosted their annual regular season awards ceremony following the game on the ice. Keegan Kolesar took home the Vegas Strong Service Award, Brett Howden won the Seventh Player Award, and Adin Hill won the First Star Award.

Soon after, 24 lucky fans had the opportunity to receive a jersey from a Golden Knights player as part of the the VGK Foundation’s “Jerseys Off Our Backs”.

The Golden Knights clinched the Pacific Division and will face off against the Minnesota Wild in the first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The team is excited to return to home ice to feel the energy the fans have brought into The Fortress all season long.
