Jr. Golden Knights Skate With Childhood Cancer Survivors
On Monday, March 11, members of the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights boys and girls teams skated with children from the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. The young hockey players helped their new friends learn to skate at City National Arena.
Many of the skaters were hitting the ice for the first time. Members of the Jr. Golden Knights program got to do a bit of coaching as they gave some tips on skating.
Coaches from the Jr. Golden Knights programs joined in as well to help teach the art of skating.
Krispy Kreme covered costs for ice time and skate rentals for the kids and provided doughnuts for all the hungry skaters!
