Karlsson Receives Semla For Fat Tuesday

Fat Tuesday is celebrated around the world. In Sweden, Fettisdagen is celebrated with semla, a special Swedish pastry. Though he’s across the world from his home in Sweden, William Karlsson was still treated to semla to honor the holiday.

Saga Pastry and Sandwich in Henderson specializes in Scandinavian food and they made the trip to City National Arena to bring semla to Karlsson.

“I didn’t know there were so many Swedes in Vegas,” Karlsson said. “It’s so nice of them to bring me some semla. They brought my favorite Swedish coffee, too.”

Now Karlsson knows where to go when he wants some Swedish treats!
