VGK Origins Debuts With William Karlsson
The Vegas Golden Knights released the first-ever segment of #VGKOrigins, featuring William Karlsson. Broadcaster Shane Hnidy headed to Sweden over the offseason to visit the star forward and discuss what made Wild Bill.
“He showed us all over, including the arena he grew up playing hockey in,” said Hnidy following his return to Vegas. “We even got a chance to meet his sister and parents. They have a whole shrine in his room that is kept perfect with all his rewards growing up.”
Karlsson opened up about his childhood in Marsta, youth hockey throughout Sweden, being selected in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft and signing an extension to stay in Vegas.
