VGK Reveals 2020/21 Schedule
The Golden Knights will play a 56-game schedule, that will feature division only opponents during the regular season and Vegas will face each team in the division a total of eight times during the season.
The Stanley Cup Playoffs will feature 16 teams in a best-of-seven series, and will include a four-round format. The league looks to conclude the playoffs around mid-July. The top four teams in each division will qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with intradivisional play in the first two rounds (#1 vs. #4; #2 vs. #3). The four teams that advance to the Semifinal Round would be seeded by their regular season points total, with the No. 1 seed playing the No. 4 seed in one series and the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds meeting in the other.
The Golden Knights will open the season at home against the Anaheim Ducks at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
