Deryk Engelland Announces Retirement
After playing in 671 games in the regular season through 11 seasons in the NHL, Deryk Engelland has announced his retirement. Engelland was part of the misfit crew that made an amazing run for the Stanley Cup in the Golden Knights’ inaugural season.
Engelland, who started his hockey career in Las Vegas for the ECHL’s Wranglers, finished his career in Las Vegas. Even though Engelland will not be playing hockey for the Golden Knights anymore, he will continue with the organization through the VGK Foundation.
