As part of the team’s Sunday Stream series, the Golden Knights simulated an NHL 20 matchup between Vegas and the NHL All-Time All Stars. The fictional matchup was one we’ll never see in person, but it was fun to see the tightly-contested affair between the NHL’s Legends and the Vegas Golden Knights.
After Brett Hull gave the Legends a 1-0 lead, Tomas Nosek answered by beating Patrick Roy upstairs to tie the game.
Wayne Gretzky put up a go-ahead goal for the All-Time All Stars, but Paul Stastny’s late goal forced overtime between the two unlikely combatants. In the extra frame, Joe Sakic sealed the win to close out the fun hypothetical contest.
