VGK Visits Three Square Food Bank
Cody Glass, Ben Jones and Logan Thompson recently spent a morning volunteering with the VGK Foundation to help our friends at Three Square Food Bank!
Along with a few additional Golden Knights staffers and local volunteers that morning alone, the crew served produce and meal packs to more than 640 families who are at-risk of hunger or food-insecure at a drive-thru distribution location in Las Vegas.
Already an ongoing challenge in our community, during to the COVID19 Pandemic, the number of Southern Nevadans who are food-insecure has risen from 1-in-8 people in need to 1-in-every-5.
