Mark Stone led the Golden Knights to a six game win streak with 10 points (2 G, 8 A) earning him NHL’s “First Star” of the week in March. When a player gets the NHL’s “First Star” of the week, a doctor that is nominated by the player also gets the “First Star.” Stone nominated Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada Dr. Claudia Mejia, who has striven to provide quality healthcare and support to Southern Nevadans in low-income communities.
