Week Four of Best of Replays

It is week four of the “Best of” Replays! For this week’s 2020-21 VGK replay, the St. Louis Blues visited the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on May 7, 2021.

The competition did not start in the favor of VGK. With 30 seconds left of the second period, Vegas found themselves down two scores 3-1, but a goal by Alec Martinez with only eight seconds left of the 2nd got the Golden Knights within one going into the third.

With 13 minutes remaining in the third, Nicolas Roy put a puck top shelf and tied the game 3-3. Neither team scored for the rest of the 3rd, so the game made its way into overtime. As overtime was coming to an end, Jonathan Marchessault snuck behind St. Louis’s defensemen and found the back of the net sending the Blue home with a lost.
