VGK's October 1 Initiatives

October 1 is an important date and day of remembrance in Las Vegas. In honor of all those who were affected by the tragedy, the Vegas Golden Knights have an annual event to give back to the community and specifically to all first responders who risk their lives every day.

This year the Golden Knights will host a blood drive in partnership with Downtown Summerlin® and Vitalant in the City National Arena parking lot on October 1st, from 8:00 a.m. PT to 5:00 p.m. PT. Those who wish to participate and donate blood are asked to make an appointment at donors.vitalant.org and enter the sponsor code "VGK".

The Golden Knights will also donate an allotment of tickets to local first responders for the preseason game played on Oct. 1, where there will be a special moment of recognition to all first responders prior to the game being played.
