Honoring Hispanic Heritage Knight at The Fortress ⚔️
The Golden Knights hosted their annual Hispanic Heritage Knight on December 7th against the New York Rangers! To celebrate Hispanic Heritage, the night kicked off with festivities before the game on Toshiba Plaza, where a musical performance by the Claudine Castro Band was held along with some face painting!
As the team hit the ice, they continued to celebrate the night by wearing specialty warm-up jerseys designed by Golden Knights graphic designer, Stephanie Suominen and then auctioned off the jerseys to raise money for a scholarship from the Latin Chamber of Commerce.
Additionally, Golden Knights social media included Spanish translations in their captions!
Extending the celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Knight, the Golden Knights hosted a ball hockey clinic at the James Boy and Girls Club. Bringing the love of hockey to predominately Hispanic neighborhoods in the valley!
