Hockey Fights Cancer Knight
The Vegas Golden Knights celebrated their annual Hockey Fights Cancer Knight on Saturday when they took on the Utah Hockey Club. The team honored special guests who are fighting or who have overcome cancer.
The team also auctioned off specialty Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys with a portion of the proceeds benefitting two local organizations: Cure 4 The Kids and its “End of Treatment Bell” and Zo’s Bravehearts Foundation.
Fans were encouraged to fill out “I Fight For” signs to honor those in their lives who have been affected by cancer.
Hats designed by Luisa from Cure 4 The Kids were sold exclusively at The Arsenal in partnership with Naqvi Injury Law. Hats can still be purchased at The Arsenal with proceeds benefitting the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.
The team also hosted Colton, a cancer survivor, at the game on Saturday. Colton rang the siren for the third period.
