Tahoe GOLDEN Monsters
The Vegas Golden Knights ECHL affiliate, the Tahoe Knight Monsters, celebrated their affiliation to the Golden Knights by turning into the Tahoe Golden Monsters for the weekend of Feb. 6-8, 2025.
The Golden Monsters took on the Adirondack Thunder in Tahoe and swept the three-game series. On Thursday, Tahoe won 3-1 with goals from Jake McGrew (2G) and Aidan Girduckis (1G).
On Friday, the Golden Monsters dominated the Thunder for a 5-2 victory. Simon Pinard (2G), Adam Pitters (1G), Adam Robbins (1G), and Bear Hughes (1G) all scored for Tahoe.
The final game of the weekend series needed overtime. Tahoe came out victorious with a 4-3 win for the series sweep. Bear Hughes (1G), Simon Pinard (1G), Jake McGrew (1G) all scored in regulation, and Sloan Stanick potted the overtime winner for Tahoe.
Chance and the Golden Knight traveled up North to show love and support to the Golden Monsters.
The Golden Monsters even had a sold out crowd on Saturday night! 4,203 fans packed the stands to cheer on the guys on the ice!
The first ever Tahoe Golden Monsters affiliation weekend was a success both on and off the ice!
