Golden Knights on Team USA at 4Nations: Week Two

Week two of the 4Nations Face-Off kicked off with a double-header on Feb. 17 at TD Garden. Team USA took on Team Sweden.

In the first game of the day, Team Canada secured their spot in the final on Thursday against Team USA. In the following matchup, Team USA fell 2-1 to Team Sweden, however Jack Eichel picked up his fourth assist of the tournament.

On Feb. 20, Team USA and Team Canada met for the second time.

Team Canada was looking for revenge. Team USA was looking to stay top dog. Both teams wanted that gold medal.

The matchup required overtime to decide the 4Nations Face-Off winner. Connor McDavid potted the game-winning goal for Team Canada, eight minutes into overtime to secure the 3-2 victory for Canada.

The final amassed 9.3 million viewers, the most since 1995. Eichel tallied four assists in the tournament and Noah Hanifin held strong on the blueline for Team USA.

Eichel and Hanifin return to the Vegas Golden Knights for a Pacific Division matchup against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, Feb. 22 at T-Mobile Arena.
