Aug 30 Tuch Visits Helen Marie Smith Elementary School

Vegas Golden Knights themed classrooms are becoming popular among Clark County School District schools. Melissa Balconi, a special resources teacher at Helen Marie Smith Elementary School and a huge Golden Knights fan, decorated her classroom before her students arrived. Through social media, Chance saw Ms. Balconi’s classroom and wanted to go check it out himself. But not only did Chance want to see the Golden Knights themed classroom, there was a special surprise Chance had up his sleeve for his visit.

As Chance arrived at Helen Marie Smith Elementary School his friend Alex Tuch was not too far behind him. The surprise roared through the front office, but Ms. Balconi had no idea Chance nor Tuch was coming to visit. Chance made his way to Ms. Balconi’s classroom with Tuch secretly behind him to make a grand entrance. Ms. Balconi and all of her students were in disbelief that Chance was walking through the door. While Chance galloped through the door giving high fives to the students and Ms. Balconi, Chance then paused and pointed to the door. Tuch strolled in and the excitement from Ms. Balconi soared through the roof. Ms. Balconi and her students were so thrilled to see Chance and Tuch right in their own classroom.

Following Chance and Tuch posing for pictures and signing autographs, they took a walk through more classrooms to see more Golden Knights fans. And of course, a ‘Go Knights Go’ chant was blared through every room.
