Engellands Help Get New Shoes For Middle Schoolers
Through the Engo’s Heroes Foundation, Deryk and Melissa Engelland partnered with New Balance to bring Goodie 2 Shoes to Garside Middle School in Las Vegas on Friday, Feb. 8. Goodie 2 Shoes allows kids in need to pick out brand new shoes in their size in any style they want.
Goodie 2 Shoes has given away more than 100,000 pairs of shoes to kids of all ages that otherwise might not have access to new shoes. More than 80 volunteers, including staff from the Golden Knights, came out to help kids get sized for socks and shoes and pick out a pair that suited them.
More than 200 kids went home with new shoes ranging from casual sneakers to athletic footwear.
The Engellands made the day a bright one for kids in Las Vegas!
