The VGK Worldwide May Fan Of The Month watches the Golden Knights from his hometown of Munich, Germany. Thomas, a lifelong hockey fan, followed the Golden Knights well before the inaugural season even started.

“I liked the idea of an NHL expansion to Vegas and was excited when the idea became true,” said Thomas. “The name, uniforms and The Fortress were just perfect. The underdog role throughout the first season and how the team managed it was just awesome, along with the great community of players and fans.”

Thomas has been a VGK Worldwide member since July and joined to share his passion with other fans living away from Las Vegas.

William Karlsson and Shea Theodore are his two favorite players on the team, as he keeps up with the Golden Knights by watching games through his NHL.TV subscription.

“I try to follow as many games as possible live, although it is late night here,” he said. “If I miss a game I try to watch it the next day when I get back from the office.”

Thomas has not yet been to Las Vegas for a game at T-Mobile Arena, although he plans to as soon as possible.
