City National Arena Hosts Women's College Skills Clinic
The Golden Knights play a key role in growing the game for everyone. City National Arena hosted the biggest clinic for women’s hockey this past weekend.
The clinic had 50 participants, which include 50 girls under 12-years-old. The girls were coached by seven NCAA Women’s coaches.
Princeton - Amanda Kessel
Brown - Makkena Newkirk
University of St. Thomas - Bethany Brausen
Northeastern - Lindsay Berman
Quinnipiac - Amanda Alessi
Boston University - Kerstin Matthews
Darmouth - Liz Keady Norton
The coaches involved gave the girls some one-on-one drills and college-level skills to work on. After the clinic, participants were able to play in a scrimmage afterwards.
The clinic was a great success and City National Arena looks forward to growing the game of hockey in Las Vegas
