Arizona Road Trip #3
The Vegas Golden Knights headed to Arizona for their third road trip since October to expand the realm with the Phoenix area.
The biggest Arizona road trip yet consisted of two ball hockey clinics, two watch parties, two book signings, three broadcaster Q&As, and six on-ice hockey clinics. Over 400 kids participated in the clinics over the three days.
The Golden Knights visited Catalina Ventura Elementary School and Chicanos Por La Causa for two ball hockey clinics on the first day of the road trip. LosVGK hosted these ball hockey clinics to continue to encourage and engage the Hispanic and Latino communities in the hockey world.
Following the ball hockey clinics, Deportes Play-by-Play broadcaster, Jesus Lopez, and LosVGK representative, Jorge Lopez, sat down with the children from Chicanos Por La Causa for a Q&A.
The team headed to Ice Den Scottsdale for three on-ice clincs, two watch parties, a book signing, and a Q&A with two-time Olympian Megan Bozek. An all-girls clinic took place with Bozek and Kate Glover, a five-year NCAA Harvard player, taking the ice to coach over 75 girls.
Within the ice rink, the Golden Knights hosted a watch party as the team took on the Chicago Blackhawks. Two lucky fans won tickets to a game in the 2025-26 season, and one lucky fan won a signed Jack Eichel jersey.
Following the all-girls on-ice hockey clinic, the players were able to sit down with Megan Bozek to ask questions and get insight on what it means to be a woman hockey player.
On the final day of the road trip, the Golden Knights visited Ice Den Chandler for three more on-ice hockey clinics and a final Q&A with Megan Bozek.
The road trip was a massive success. The Golden Knights, Arizona hockey players, and their families all left filled gratitude. The Golden Knights hope to return in the future to continue spreading the Vegas hockey way.
