On Tuesday, Youth Hockey Manager Harrison Luce, held his final event at Lifeguard Arena with the help of some Las Vegas Metro Police. Something that started in a church parking lot eventually made its way to the ice.
Harrison and community partners held ball hockey tournaments in parking lots around East Las Vegas. After several sessions, they created a system to get the kids that showed up regularly on the ice in Henderson. Upon arrival, the kids were greeted with equipment, including skates and jerseys. According to Harrison, many kids were introduced to the game of hockey.
