AFC Bournemouth & Auckland FC Success
AFC Bournemouth is coming off a massive historical win defeating Manchester City 2-1 on November 2. Manchester City is the reigning Premier League champions. The Cherries ended Man City’s 32-game unbeaten streak.
Antoine Semenyo scored in the 9th minute and Evanilson scored the game winner in the 64th minute.
Moving on to the south, Auckland FC remains undefeated after picking up a 2-0 win against Wellington Phoenix FC in the team’s first kiwi derby.
Jake Brimmer scored both goals for the Black Knights.
AFC Bournemouth takes on Brentford FC Saturday, November 9. Auckland FC has a bye week this week but will continue play November 23 against Macarthur FC.
